Would you mind rattling off the serial number on that turbo, you will find a lot of the southern hemisphere will have the CLA200 with the 1.6 turbo engine...Im starting to find a lot of parts are interchangable, like your blow off valve for example..My car needs a turbo upgrade badly..I was looking at the BorgWarner EFR turbo only an hour before I read this post.

Yup it lags like crazy.... But I Thot the upside of having a smaller is turbo = less lag... But I guess I was wrong.

Hopefully Turbokits can work their magic!

We think with the correct mods the turbo is almost too responsive, breaking traction more than propelling you down the road. We feel something a tad larger to bring the powerband up so it doesn't fall off at 5K will do more to bring the 0-60 & 1/4 mile numbers down than more boost, sooner. But that's the fun of R&D, testing out different scenarios to see which one performs the best. Some people may want to keep the stock turbo and do all of the bolt-ons, some may want to reach for a higher power band and higher #s and will look for a larger turbo. Either way, we aim to get it all without any sacrifice, so we'll see

Good, our turbo upgrade is solid, has solid gains, we'll be releasing it soon, stay tuned. Thanks.

Any thoughts on what the stock engine can handle ? Upgrading the turbo, intakes, tunes, downpipes, do you guys feel that the engine will be able to hold up to the power increases? I only ask since this seems to be of high debate in the forum as of recently and I figured a professional opinion would be super appreciated by allot of people
