Plasti-dip grill wing

This is a discussion on Plasti-dip grill wing within the CLA Exterior Styling forums, part of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Forum category; Thanks for the explanation Gerry. I thought it was a lot harder than that to remove it. Will definitely do mine, similar to the HGMS ...

I just sprayed mine on and peeled it off. Taped around the hood, and grill. When there is a seam it will peel perfectly.

Could someone tell me what clips I should be undoing when I take of the front emblem? How many of of them are there and how do you unclip them. Im trying to do this and I can't seem to find the clips and if I did find them they wont come off even with a lot of force.

Looks kind of corny and cheesy, IMO. Something about plasti-dip just doesn't strike me as a good looking addition to any part of the car.

Look good, but plasti dip is "cheap" and should e reserved for "non-luxury" cars IMO. You should get a gloss paint job instead to replicate the Edition 1's version of the grill.

The "wing" has tabs (clips) that stick thorough the grill. Reach in and press on the tab as you pull on the wing. Then once the wing is off there are tabs (clips) on the back of the chrome portion that stick through the wing. Same process.

Is there a certain direction i should be pressing these tabs? (up/down) Also, how many tabs are there on each side of the wing?
