Swirls in paint from auto wash I assume.

So I've done my due diligence on the CLA listened to you guys and have only hand wash. BUT I bought a Brand new Chevy silverado that's black they took it to the dealer wash without me knowing I got it home looked at it in direct sunlight and my god the swirls in the paint are horrible and it has 70 miles on it. What process do I take to get them out. Thanks

go back to dealer and have them polish and buff your car out for free.

Don't take it back to dealer to have them polish it out. Go to the dealer and tell them you will be getting your own detailer to do a paint correction, as you do not trust theirs. They may push to have theirs do it, but push back. There was an example of a guy with a brand new CTS-V who encountered the same issue and let the dealer try to correct it and only made it worse and it was a long drawn out fiasco that came to getting a brand new car repainted. Save yourself, seek a reputable detailer and get a written estimate and produce this when you complain to dealer.

CMO, if you're going to do it yourself here's what I recommend...

    1. Get two buckets. One for rinsing and one for suds; and hand wash it. I use a few different products (depending on my mood) but just use whatever you soap like best (not dish soap).
    2. Clay it (remember to use a lot of lubricant). I use a Griots clay with Speed Shine.
    3. Pick up some Wolfgangs Swirl Remover 3.0. Apply it with a random orbital polisher with a flat 5.5" light cutting pad. Make sure to pick up a few pads if you don't have them. You don't want to use dirty pads all over your car.
    4. Pick up some Paint Glaze. I like Poor Boys Black Hole but there are tons of great products out there.
    5. Wax it. My preference is Pinnacle Souveran paste (not liquid) but, again, there are lots of great products. Go with whichever you like best.

Just make sure you've got a bunch of clean microfiber towels so you don't lay down new swirls over the paint you just corrected.

I prefer Menzerna Final Finish II with a white Lake Country foam pad for the final polish before sealing/waxing. Menzerna FF is what they use at the Mercedes factory. It has no fillers to fill and hide swirls. If there are no swirls after using Menzerna FF then the swirls are gone not filled and hidden to pop up again later.

I would recommend going with what Milazzo said. I purchased a brand new Murano and they did the same thing. I complained they brought one of the guy that works at the dealership to fix the swirls and did an "ok" job on one side and nothing on the other side. The guys that work at dealership are not the most experienced and professional when it comes to this. You need to go to an outside specialist and tell the dealership to pay for it.

You could do it on your own but this process will take you A LONG TIME. It is good to know how to do it yourself, but if what you are saying it is really bad get a pro to do it and then maintain it.
