Of course with only 8K and almost full tread, I got on of these stupid nails, which no tire shop would fix ...

So I had to give it a try ... (but all you nice boys and girls don't try this at home ok? I'm the guinea pig)

And to see what it may look like inside just dispensed the same volume as a control ... (and it stays sticky never really dries and the trick
is to let it "set" for >24hrs with the tire tilted to the correct position, before reinstalling and driving)

It's been a month, took it past 120, hot cold dry rain etc ... so far so good and just hope it holds for another 10k when I can go to the Motivo or PSS

Can you share the link from where you bought the kit from? Thank you!

I'll share my story too. I got a flat tire after 3 years of non issues (not bad at all). Luckily I didn't pay for the insurance from MB but I did pay for an insurance from Discount Tire a month after I bought the car. I went there when I got the flat tire (run flat sucks! the wheel was completely destroyed after driving 15 miles to the shop!) and they honored the insurance (which had cost me $100). They replaced one tire for free and put another one to match. They didn't recommend run flats. So no I have 2 ran flat and 2 regular ones. Soon I will replace the run flats as well. Long story short. Now I am looking for a spare tire just in case and as people recommend here.

Can anyone share what is the best/cheap kit recommended here?

    Thank you!

Do you have the specifications for the wheel (offset) and tire? I see a ton on ebay but they're all for other MB models and I never know if they'll work on our CLAs.
