I have the AMS and it seems to be very well built. No matter what intake you get you won't notice a difference besides the sound.

    Intakes

+1 I have the Alpha intake, build quality is solid, you will save money on overpriced Mercedes pleated filters once a year, as the Alpha filter is cleanable.
Serious doubts on the 20 HP claim, but it does sound better to me!

So getting an intake also void all warranty right? It's very noticeable compared to ecu.

I recall reading a thread where the claim was the aftermarket filter let too much junk thru screwed up the engine but the intake vendor did not step up etc. So yeah ... look out.

So yeah I'll probably wait till warranty is over but by that time a more powerful version is probably out.

Thanks to everybody! Believe me that I've done my homework and read a lot about the different intakes' options, but for me at last, the experience of the Users it's what counts a lot. Thanks again.

AMS with a tune you will notice a difference. Can't comment on a stock engine with aftermarket intake. As far as I'm concerned all companies will provide the same amount as long as they come with a larger filter base and inlet. So shop around. As someone posted they have a used MM for sale. I'd jump on that if I was in the market.
