Do hope you're sticking around the forum. Would hate to see you go. I guess there are C300 forums? If you find a good one let me know as we just order a GLC C300 with October delivery. Hope you weren't affected badly by Harvey.
Yes, My trip this year, as noted above, was quite similar to last years. It is definitely easier to drive with the active lane keeping, and the ride in comfort is more forgiving. I've done a bit of driving in sport+, and it very much like the CLA.
I won't totally disappear, too many cool people here. I'll be checking in periodically.
Fortunately, Austin got relatively little rain, my wife said about 9 inches altogether. A bit of wind damage, and a 10 hour power outage were the extent of our troubles. We have been able to make donations through our church and Red Cross. I also was able to donate airline miles to help the rescue efforts. Prayers continue for the millions affected. It will be a long haul, but the spirit shown is inspiring. I read that roughly 500,000 vehicles were lost to the storm, and many dealers lost their inventories of cars. Tradesmen lost their tools and vehicles, and can't help with rebuilding yet.
Let us know about the GLC 300.
