My dealer said the CLA45 AMG might be metallic white, but looking at the AMG brochure, it says Cirrus White, just like a regular CLA...

I have chosen the white color as well, but after long hesitation, because of the yellowish look. I believe the CLA45 AMG is brighter white, because it is metallic?!

If I could change anything about the CLA, I wish the White was whiter or the Jupiter Red was more red like Ferrari Red... (but only one of those, otherwise I would still have difficulty choosing)
I agree 100% the yellow tint to the white i HATE. It would be better if it was just the all white color like the C-Class or even better would be the Audi Ibis White . I would probably have gone with white if it didn't have the yellow off white look and was completely white. But i chose polar silver. Thumbs down from me for this New MB color.

Side by side Calcite/Cirrus White(thanks to vmanengland) he also posted "if you look at the car beside it, I reckon that is calcite white..... the cirrus white is an off-white, not that shocking white if you know what I mean!" which is right on point.

Add Keyless Go feature to Premium Package.
Replace CLA250 steering column stalk shifter with CLA45 style console shifter.

    Oops, that's two things.

There little things I would add but the biggest is a manual transmission. That's my only real gripe. Everything else is just...stuff.

    Improvements for the CLA

I find it annoying that the "command stick" has redundant functions. E.g.: you can tilt it left and right to navigate
various available selections, or turn the ring on it, to do the same thing.

The "turn the ring" function could be doing something else useful e.g.: manipulate the volume of the radio.
That way you would not have to take your hands off of it, as you browse radio stations or whatever
to reach for a different control when you want to adjust the volume.

Even better, it could have an user-assignable function.

The Becker nav system is totaly sub-par. It has unusable voice recognition and an antiquated user
    interface.

I wish it was more reliable, on par with an Accura, with a long warranty.
I would not mind paying a premium for the fun-to-drive factor, if it was less hassle to own one.

Non-run flat tires should be an option ( the default).

Hydraulic lifters for the hood. Hey, my kid's Sonata has them, for half of the price.

Easier diy maintenance. E.g.: Take some ideas from the Sonata. E.g.:
Replacing the engine air filter should be tool-less.

Compared to other past cars (acura fiat ford honda mazda nissan volvo) this cla is simplest in terms of oil change - no drain pan needed for oil filter as it points up, very quick & clean process. Evac extract is thus appropriate and not messy. Very refreshing to not have to jack up the car and crawl underneath just to change oil.

The snaps/clips on air filter housings although do not need tools tend to snap/crack with age - for both all polymer and metal/polymer designs. Nothing to break in this cla system so as long as the screws are not overtightened. Not too bad a process since done only every 5 to 10k mi.

Just my 2c on those 2 points.
