    2018 CLA250 Upgraded Turbo

    Hello all, I just finished the Turbo-Kits.com turbo swap over the weekend. Just in time to put it back away in storage due to Ohio weather.

    congrats! how does the car feel now and if you dont mind can you explain how each performance mod felt and what difference each made.

    I did a couple pulls before I put the car back away for the Winter. The boost spikes at 22-23psi on a hard pull.

    I honestly didn't notice much difference between the stock intercooler and the upgraded, but after the turbo swap was when I could notice all of the power gains.

    Definitely worth it. Turbo-kits.com were very quick to issue my $495 core credit the day they received my old core back also, so shout out to them.

    Wish there was more support for this car as far as internals and a custom manias I'm so prone to Precision Turbos but for this car I had no other option, but nonetheless I am happy with the purchase.

    Only got to drive the car a few minutes before I had to put it away before the snow started to fall.

    I am running big turbo Gtx2867 Mamba with custom Manifold

    Yeah I could have one fabbed. I've had it done before but not taking a chance with the stock internals.

    Oh yeah not saying it wouldn't run fine, but if I'm going to get a custom fabbed mani and a turbo per say a Precision, I'm not going to want to worry about the internals not being forged like the CLA45. Too much of a hassle. What PSI are you running I guess is the question.

    27-29 psi still safe but low timing, so we can reverse that to aggressive timing and lower boost
