I do agree with you 100% JMC the style and shape is still the best up to date..
I have the 2016/17 update 220d with the AMG pack white with black spoke wheels and pano roof..... I think the model when they changed the door shape and boot actually lost an iconic and beautifully sculptured balanced car..
The new models maybe nice inside but for me the outside lets them down, not as aerodynamic or as streamlined as the older body...Cheers clc

@jmc Man, you had thinking about my CLA now. It's been taking a nap for months then I used it last week and it ran out of freon. Lol.
Recharged now and back to sleep.

My mechanic did a diagnosis (I didn't ask what) and calibrated(?) the system prior to recharging the R134a. He suspected leaking so he introduced some dye. He did say that the refrigerant containment is smaller than the older MB models. He's an Euro / MB specialist at Scarsdale NY so I'll take what he said with a grain of salt.

well he's a good boy ... covered the hell out of the paint!
hope you dont see any dye ... though sometimes the valve cores have a tiny score line on the seal and of course stuff will go past that over time (months to years) so maybe just flutzing with those two valves during the connections may yield a show and tell
and "calibrated" as in pressure data? any paperwork on that?
