We have a 2014 CLA 45 AMG, it has this problem .. when put car in gear it hesitates noticeably.. also some times it gets jerky when changing gears in sport mode ..

The dealership has no idea about it, we just throwing parts at the car, changed alot of parts (including throttle body) and didn't go away. Some suggested it has something to do with fuel system, although fuel injectors are new. Maybe fuel pump or fuel rail pressure sensor.

Any ideas??

Could the clutch be bad?
I really hope it's not something with the transmission because it will be a pain to the pocket. But we scanned the ECU it appears that there are stored failure codes there regarding the fuel system: p008b00, p008700. No we will rechange the fuel pump and fuel pressure sensor.

Re: Regular MB Diagnostic test - Can you tell us if they (the MB Dealer) checked for all codes?
Were the 2 p codes given to you by MB?....Or another code reader?

Thank You, yes the codes were given 2 us by the MB dealer, also before these codes there was a code regarding the (Fuel Purge Solenoid), we changed it and the canister and the fuel purge line, but the problem is still there as u can see in the video, I think it's a malfunction in the fuel system .. weak fuel pump (or clogged fuel filter) or fuel pump controller unit or fuel pressure sensor.

In neutral
Gradual ramp from 750rpm to 6500rpm
Any hiccups? Stuttering?

Try moving coil packs around? Mileage on plugs?

How old is the fuel? What brand/type? Raining lately?

Nope, nothing happens in neutral, we can rev it to the red limit without any complaints, RPM needle goes up and down smoothly (we don't do this alot, because the car hates it). This only happens when we put the car in 'D'rive.

Mileage on spark plugs and fuel injectors is 6.000 miles. (We will try what you said about the coil packs though, interesting).

Fuel is pretty new, a couple of days old, type: shell VPower gasoline (labelled as: "performance fuel" around here)
