Looks like the Driver Assistance package has gone up to $2500; it was $2250 before. The edition 1 seems to be the hot item though; the only thing i would add to it is the driver assistance package or blind spot assist. I think this car, with the low roofline, is really going to need at least the blind spot system to help visibility and safety.

My father's C250 has the driver assistance package and i honestly think its worth its weight in gold..i have experienced the active blind spot assist in action the day we bought the car. Question about the Edition 1; is it possible to add any other options to that model or does it come as is? I would love to have the driver assistance package on the edition one....cisternachyli,

there is no way to get the sport package without getting the 18" wheels. However, if you decide to get the CLA250 4Matic with the sport package, the tires of the 18" will be all weather tires. I will double check and get back to you.

Did some quick research, the CLA comes stock with Blue tooth connectivity so if you are using an updated cellphone like the Iphone4 and up, you can stream your music through the bluetooth without having and cords or paying an arm and a leg to get after market AUX inputs.

My Canada dealer said that most likely the Edition One comes with a standardized packages, pre-built from the factory (i.e. NO Navigation, MDA (Driving Assitance), or Parking Assistance). I hope this is wrong too. I'm waiting for my allocation result for the 50 Canadian Edition One but without these additional options I want, I may need to opt out of the Edition 1. ><

Pretty much the Edition 1 comes as is. However, let me check with my superiors and I will get back to you on that. Personally, I don't think the Edition 1 is able to come with that package but I may be wrong let me find out for you...
