I've never owned any of the higher-end Mercedes so I don't know if it's offered in them. I had a feature in my 2000 Lincoln LS that I really miss.
The preset seat, steering wheel & mirror positions were activated by the key fob before getting into the car. My wife's key fob was recognized differently than mine as whenever we used it to open the door it would automatically go to our own individual settings. Also a single push or the seat preference button would automatically go to the related setting without standing in the rain with one's finger on the button waiting for it to move back so you could climb in.
It does appear that since my 2014 and my wife's 2018 GLC300, they have added an easy entry feature where the seats retract for easier entering and exiting. I currently use my 3rd. preset button to do it, but again I have to wait with my finger on the button to achieve it
Why hasn't MB adopted this handy feature?
