Any Aussies putting the private lounge stickers on their car. I normally don't like to put any on my car but think this may be the exception.

Put it on the windscreen. Bottom corner on passenger side. I like it. I did scratch it a bit as I applied but you cant tell from the outside.

I'll post a pic later if it works in the dark.

As I said I don't normally put stickers on cars so I agree with you it may not be your thing. It's about a third the size of a rego sticker and good quality. Has a nice little amg hologram. I don't mind it and got asked today what it was so its a conversation starter.

On show what is it? What privileges does this allow you? How do you get one? My salesman has never mentioned this to me

It's a sticker denoting that you are an AMG Private Lounge (PL) member. It's not something you can buy at your dealership. You have to buy a new AMG and use your new VIN to create an account on the PL website. They have draws sometimes where they give out stickers (as seen in Onshow's pic) to members who enter in the draw at no charge.

the private lounge is where all new info is posted as well as being a sounding forum between the drivers and AMG in Germany. I have asked questions and had them chase up info for me. very helpful.

They also publish details of AMG drive days as well as AMG events. If you have an AMG you should be able to get in to the PL. just google it and you should find details on how to register

Are you sure you need to buy a new AMG to get access to the PL? I've seen "hello there" posts from new users there that just bought their first used AMGs...

also, the demographic of some of the folks there are a bit too much for me to comprehend their posts... "should I drive the Lamborghini or the SLS today"? Or "should I buy the AMG GT or GT-S... maybe I'll get both in different colors". You get prizes for activity and # of posts there but it's not as much fun as the folks on this forum.

They actually sent me two stickers since it took them so long to send me my first one and asked the community manager about it and I received two letters with stickers on them... still haven't put mine up yet.
