I'm convinced the sales people don't actually know what it going on... not just in your case but in general. So they are just finding things to tell you.So I got an update:
No, it shouldn’t do as a vehicle is already secured, and is in build
It has a production number and factory order confirmed with a chassis number
There are currently blocking operation and export block holds applied by the factory, so no accurate ETA as yet
Not sure what this means? 'Blocking Operation' and 'Export Block Holds' yet guys in this thread are having AMG CLA models exported as we speak....
These comms are a joke
The sad part is that’s an email from the central UK sales administration…I'm convinced the sales people don't actually know what it going on... not just in your case but in general. So they are just finding things to tell you.
You're right that A250 hatch/sedans are common... I see some CLA250... but I've honestly seen only ONE CLA45 all year in Toronto.Yeah exact, if we don't buy it, 10 other people will! Our power of negotiation is really low.
And CLA35 and the new CLA45 is pretty rare, I think I saw 2 or 3 of 'em in the whole summer... but there's a lot of CLA250.
So there's something cool about having a car model that will be, I think, pretty rare in 2022 too!
If you're in Ontario, there's a chance that your car is on the same boat. Let me know when you get updates from Mercedes, hopefully we'll get both our cars before Christmas!
