Hi all,
For those who is expecting a late oct delivery, are your cars on the Morning Caroline? It just left Bremerhaven and is the only one that will reach the east coast of Aus around the end of oct.
Those expecting an mid oct delivery, your cars should be on Tulane, currently along the east coast of South Africa making it's way to Port Elizabeth (scheduled to arrive Mel on the 3rd Oct)

Ordered CLA220AMG in April, promised September, now December expecting February, yes I'm p****d lol
About to test drive other cars, can get a 320 4 weeks, XF 6 weeks mainstream stuff couple of weeks and Q3 in 5 days!!

Please, tell me why i should wait!!

I was in a similar boat. I ordered mine in mid march. Dealer promised delivery in sept, then it got delayed to Dec. I was quite upset and the dealer talked to the headquarter and got a much earlier build slot for me.

Now Mine was built in mid Aug and it's now on the sea heading to the US.

I have sports package, pano roof and a few other options. One or more of the options might have contributed to the original delay.

Wow exciting times guys. As we all get closer. My 45 has been sitting at the port for 3 days. It better be on a boat soon.its coming to Australia so takes a while. So glad it's built but. At least no delay there

Hi Pure,
pano roof and auto box appear to be the main reasons for delay so I'm b*ggered!! Might buy something else due to the wait.

Mine is on the Talune for Oct 15 delivery. News for CLA45 is there are supply delays for carbon fibre interior. Some early orders are opting to wait for this option. If you are quick to get onto your dealer you may be able to jump the que if this is something you can do without. I already have had a friend who has been able to jump the que.

I don't know how but my dealer was able to get me an earlier build date without cutting an option.

Mine has carbon interior but I beleive it's built. It's still taking ages to get on the ship. I wonder it the carbon has anything to do with it

My Dealer called me Friday that there is an issue with Carbon Fibre Interior supply. He told me if I want the car this year I will need to drop it else it will be a March 2014 delivery. I dropped the CFI Option and saved $1K.

Placed deposit early April, ordered in system mid July. Scheduled delivery Mid November...
Perhaps you were even earlier in line than me. I am seeing you guys are getting your car in October!

Wow that's weird. Mine says ordered 24/7. I am on track for 4/11 at this stage

Perhaps differences in delivery could be due to different dealer allocations and color choices etc in production. No info on VIN but didn't ask. I'm sure most people are ordering white
