Battery drain issue - Cause by transmission ?

For the last few months, my car seems to have a battery drain somewhere. If i leave if for 1 day without taking it, it won't start.

Also, for the last few week, i have a strange problem with my transmission, when the car is "cold" or i didn't take it for few hours, my downshift are slow. But if i drive for few minutes, stop the car, get off and lock the door for 2-3 minutes and get back in, everything work fine now, downshift are back to normal.

For the drain, i did a little test with the fuse box in the engine bay and i see 2 fuse with some current on it with the car off.

One is for "Dual clutch transmission fully integrated transmission control unit" and it jump around every few second from 0 to 0.002-3
I can ear some buzzing and relay clicking :

Sometime it stop after 10 minutes, and sometime it is still doing after 1 hour..

I am start thinking that both issues are maybe related..

I hope this is not the TCU, this is probably pricy...

wait
the dmm is on the 2000mv scale
and you are seeing 2mv
across a fuse?
you might be in the noise of the transfer function at that range
remove the fuse set to the 10A range and then check for current flow
if tiny reading then try the 200ma range

be careful though

I will test that with the fuse off.

On any other fuse if i do the same, i am always at 0.000.

I done some testing tonight.
We found 3 fuses that draw power with the car off.
By removing some 1 or 2 or 3 of those fuses, the sound/clicking sound change what ever we remove of put back the fuses.

Also, those fuse draw some amp :
214 : 0.3A
217 : Between 0A to 1.5A
220 : 0.3A

If someone can do the same test and test those 3 fuses with a multimeter to check the amp draw with the car off, it will help me.

I have a appointment in coupe weeks only at a local garage..

Also, i left the battery disconnected all night, and the voltage was pretty much the same as last night... So yes something is draining my battery 🥺

I just hope that i will not have to go to the dealer for that.. 💶💶

What is the battery voltage when left disconnected ?

is this a fairly new battery ?

My battery is a bit more than 1 year old.

The battery was at 12.6-7v last night and this morning it was similar.

If i left it pluged overnight, i am always in the 11v range the morning after.
Okay,so I don't have a fuse 17. The fuse dia shows it. If u look at pic,

fuse 16 and 17 are not there. The amp draw on other fuse 14 was o. Fuse 220 the same. No clicking relays. I have a 2019 cla with a dct. 270 engine.

Ok, thanks for the info.
I have 2015 Cla45.

I certainly have something going on on mine 😕
The cause of battery discharge is not only in the transmission but also in other electrical components. When a vehicle is unused for long periods, some systems may draw a small amount of current and drain the battery. Check other methods, such as lights, radio, or ventilation, to ensure they are turned off when the car is unused. As for the fuses with current on them, this may indicate some activity in the electrical system, but for an accurate assessment of the situation, it is better to consult an automotive expert.
It can drain it with only 1 fill day of not using it.

I have an appointment in 2 week at my local mechanic, but i am scare they will meet able to do something if they found the source of the drain.
