omg dont go jinxing my aux batt either
this will be my 4th main batt good grief but the little one just keeps hummin along and that darn eco stop gibberish still works when i forget to push hit that green light so the aux is good

4th battery !?!?!! I’m still on my first battery for the past 5 years.

yup … just horrible juju with batteries despite the cteks
the state of charge is good until the cliff one day without warning
2yr 2yr 4.5yr … so maybe the 5th battery will last 6.5yr
so sort of a fibonacci progression for me

So either a BCI group H7 or 94R will fit the 2014/2015 CLA?

Hi Mav,
Be careful here - found out that during MY2014 they installed two different main batteries in production. Some were H6, others H7. The H7 is 1 inch longer. If yours was H7 you can use either but if H6 the H7 won't fit into the bracket.

I was pretty lucky my original battery lasted 8 years, it's sleeps outside (no garage) and we have brutally cold winters. You never can tell.
