The alloy wheels are showing signs of corrosion around the outer rim. To keep them looking immaculate I've taken them to be re-cut. The garage have said that they wouldn't recommend this, as the wheels have been re-cut in the past, to re-cut them again and take more of the surface off, would leave a big difference in surface level between the silver edge of the wheel and the black inner area. It also wouldn't stop the corrosion of the alloy happening again. They have suggested re-coating the entire wheel black.
Would re-coating the wheels affect my loan agreement, as I purchased the car on a PCP deal.
