Which version did you order ? And tired of waiting or because of something you read ?
I ordered mountain grey Amg pack, multi and premium pack w/ black MB tex.. Just not enough info from dealer yet they are not for sure about if the seats get the red stitch or we can oreder night package and which rims we can get between black the polished or polished with black so I said I will wait till car comes out bc did not want to get the point where I dnt get deposit back and I'm stuck with stuff I dnt want or have the option to change at a later date but still love the car and want just gonna wait till it comes ouy
I would probably done the same. Just don't give up on the car

You'll love the look when you see one in real life :in love:
It's still very premature to call interest list deposit, pre-order build-sheet, and the like an actual formal "order" as the truth-be-told, the dealer hasn't/can't submit anything to the factory as of yet. Though, it seems many w/ early interest list deposits would likely progress to real-deal orders.

But yea- I feel y'all w/ regards to not having any updates, information, or timeframe for a demo/test-drive/delivery. A token demo vehicle at the dealer was anticipated in spring (now), formal orders fwd'd to the factory in summer, fall delivery (for those early on the list who followed through).
I think it was the smart thing to do stang. There's nothing worse than being stuck with a car you are not entirely happy with. If you are going to spend your money on it, it's best to get EVERYTHING that you want in it rather than be stuck wishing you would have done this that and everything else.
The Lexus IS350-F Sport looks better day by day :(. I know the spindle/predator grille in the front is a turnoff for many, but in the red color, its growing on me. Plus the performance cannot be denied! I want to see how the US market CLA250 will stack up, track tests and all, to its competitors.

Nice car! Definitely a competitor for the AMG, but probably not the CLA.
yeh... the lack of news, configurator, and the long wait are all killing my desire little by little.

i have a strong interest in getting a gtr now instead of the amg.

I think that is what happened to me.
Ya guys the wait is one but you would think the US get a more info by now or at least the configurator but I feel I made the right choice oh well not gonna get it in September but at least ill be able to test drive now and can be exactly sure what I'm paying 43k for

I hated always knowing more than the dealers. It irked me too..
One attribute about the Lexus IS is the RWD, which definitely helps w/ the handling/performance & overall feel/refinement.

With that said, the boosted 2.0T of the CLA likely has a lot of untapped potential which can be unleashed relatively affordably. It's gonna be very interesting to see what tuners & enthusiast will do. It may actually be worthwhile to get the 4Matic just to be able to put that additional power down effectively...

Isn't the IS350 F-Sport just an IS w/ F-Sport package, not a an IS-F? Meaning it's like Audi's S-Line, MB's AMG package (or Sports package for the CLA), etc. Namely, cosmetic/trim/handling stuff.

The A5 you're interested in is $43k as-equipped & pre-TTL? I like the A5/S5 a lot, just very pensive towards VW/Audi reliability/dependability (though a somewhat of a moot point on a car under warranty).

Yeah the F sport package is add on, but this time, Lexus has equipped it with Adaptive suspension and a sport plus mode. The only thing that concerns me about the CLA is the suspension tuning and how good its gonna be in the twisties. For that reason, the 4matic might be worth it. I am excited to see what can be wrung out of the 2.0T in the CLA; Vath and Brabus have it already going upto 240-250 hp...im sure there is much more potential there.
