Hi all,

In my CLA, I had turned on the assistive seating option, where the seats move back when the car is turned off and doors opened.
It had been working fine but since having it cleaned at a local valet - it seems to have stopped working?

I've tried the basic measures - switching the option on and off etc, nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

The valet may have tripped a wire under the seat ?? Is this happening only for the driver seat or both the driver and front passenger seat?

Take a peak under the seat to see if there are any obvious disconnected wires.

If everything under the seats look fine and the activation button is not working, try the "reboot" , disconnect the battery, leave it disconnected for 1 hour, then reconnect the battery, and try again.

Otherwise, do the full "reboot"

it did work on my car but not any more, you could whined the seat right forward and see if it work or not as there is a point where it it doesn't do anything i believe

Thanks for the insights pal.
I'll check for any disconnected wires and do the battery reboot if nothing else works

Btw, what is the "full reboot"?
