Are those official production US models? Mountain gray (which looks like edition one - black mirrors, black multi-spoke wheels, flat bottomed wheel and yellow stroke over the dashboard) has small navi screen and no rear parking sensors... Same as a car I saw in dealership about a month ago, but then it was clearly pre production vehicle... Hope my Edition one comes with big screen, parking sensors and all goodies associated with edition one in dealers order guide, otherwise I will not be taking this delivery...

Thanks for the very first US spec CLA45 photo !
Noticed a couple of things:
1. The bi-Xenon lights for the US appear to be missing an inside lamp that the European cars get and look less attractive.
2. The US CLA45 and probably CLA250 get the power seat control and memory on the door as opposed to the Europeans that are at the side of the seats. Much nicer on the door !
3. The white CLA45 just doesn't thrill me. Unfortunately, it's the color I chose...

outsider,

You are referring to intelligent light system which seems not available in US. I also hopped to see red contour inside main light which seems to be missing in US as well...

Intelligent light system is you additional "missing" middle bulb which turns with the wheel to illuminate corners when you turn the car... Look at German site and official photos there...

Thanks Alex. I first noticed the difference on the order guide photos and now on the real cars.

I second this. For something that can and will sell so well why are they hiding details on it?
Because they don't want other manufactures to copy it before it gets released.

I third this! Although I can understand not wanting other MFGs to copy, there are no other luxury cars like this and won't be until the A3 comes out. And BMW is waiting to see how these 2 pan out before they consider doing the same.

Don't get me wrong though. The reason its frustrating is because I am so excited about the car. It makes me more sensitive to the lack of info because I am actively looking for it.

yeah i dont think they are . . . there is no air deflectors in the side front vents either on the cla45....
US CLA45 gets short changed a lot. Cheaper price may have something to do with it.
Can't get night styling package ( even CLA's are getting them elsewhere.) Can't get 651 Recaro seats. Can't order back up camera. Incomplete bi-Xenon headlamp, Absent deflectors at front intercooler vents.

It is 'my understanding' that the US will not let manufacturers 'play around' with lights. Merc has some lights that do amazing things, but the US gov. says, "Lights is lights, and you can't mess wit' 'em".

i think the headlamps will be the ones were used . . go BUILD A CLA ON MBUSA and the bi-xenon look like this (is this a "real" headlight?):

this is what im assuming they will look like on the us cla45 too.

here are some other pics from the web:
