It seems that very few ppl here were talking about CLA 45 edtion 1...

So how's everyone's opinion about CLA 45 edition 1? Which color you would buy?

Not if they put on that silly black stripe above the door sill. Also too expensive at I am guessing $63000+...

As of right now; there has not been any talk of a US Edition One vehicle. Unless they are planning something like the 507 Edition down the road.

The decals don't work for me. Yes, on a Carrera GT3...not so much on a sedan. It's too boy-racer-wannabe. I know the old adage that stickers add horsepower but I would rather have an STI with its big honking wing. At least that's functional...and I think more hp.

Correct. I have 2 CLA 250 Edition 1's left. There are no 45 Edition 1's being offered.

I've posted in a different thread but I'll post her too. I thought I ordered an Edition One 4 weeks ago. But apparently my dealer didn't actually know what the Edition 1 was, even though I clearly said Edition 1 numerous times. Infact, He was the 2nd dealer I spoke too. The first one didn't know anything about it, then I called him and told him how my local dealer was unaware of an edition 1. Long story short - I put $1k down to reserve an edition 1, then he called me 4 weeks later asking me to "build my own" on the site. Then I told him that ..Wait a minute, the edition 1's come standard and cannot be "built" that way. So then he did some investigating and realized he didn't know what he was doing and reserved me the wrong car. I've called, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans so far, and no one knows anything about a CLA45 AMG Edition 1. So yeah, I've been hitting the pavement hard and going no where fast.

Frankly the only thing I like about the E1 is the spoiler and my SA is looking into how to source it for me. So I'm good...don't have to deal with the stripe.

I have not heard anything about the E1 for the 45 coming to the US. If I do I will let everyone know. I did see the E1 when I was Affalterbach and it's pretty cool.

Yes, the E1's all come the same way. It's a take it or leave it process.

I will say I prefer the edition 1 CLA graphics to the A45.

Well I posted it on the forum, but no one ever asked me for permission to put it on youtube. At least I don't remember anyone asking me lol (I took the vid when I was visiting Affalterbach in the summer) So yes and no? XD
