Ok, so we've seen some of the information before, but it's finally available to us Canadians. Some of the things you can do is pick different colours and get technical specs. Take a look.

Interesting, I found the drag to be .28 in the technical specs section. Is the N.A. CLA going to be different than Europe?

Say CLAMP, thanks for the link. It is awesome to be able to see the color choices right on the model and then observe the 360 degree view of the car. My wife was luke warm to the car but became much more interested once she saw the car in the various color choices.

I was given the entire USA MY14 CLA Dealer Ordering Guide" released on 01/30/2013, which contains a lot of info and some prices for options. If anyone wants, I can try to scan and post here.

Akacarioca, Do it! Do it! Do it!

By the way, anyone else notice that the 0-100 km/hr (0-62 MPH) acceleration time is 9.3 secs. That can't be right. Some bargain basement Kia's are faster than that. I bet they meant 6.3 secs. There are some slight errors in their tech data, such as they have the inches/mm dimensions mixed up. But that is the first time I've seen posted acceleration times.

Just checked and there are 38 pages, which would be almost impossible to scan/upload. I will try something. In the meantime, the most important is the options prices and that I can tell you right away.

6 seconds isn't horrible. I was kind of hoping something bmw135 ish in acceleration. This is probably larger though. I can't wait to see how this pans out

No, not the 135i. That has a kick-ass 6 cylinder turbo in it pumping out 5.1 secs.

I'd compare it to a 328i which pumps out an astounding 5.7 seconds from its 4 cylinder turbo. In the USA, there will soon will be a slower 320i which will be more compatible to the CLA in acceleration and price.

Found out a little more information from my contact at Mercedes Benz Canada regarding the CLA. I asked a few questions and the response is included.

1) Will the CLA Class be at the Toronto International Auto Show? (fingers
crossed) WE WILL HAVE THE COUPE CONCEPT ON DISPLAY AS WELL AS AN AUGMENTED
REALITY VERSION OF THE CLA BUT UNFORTUNATELY, NO REAL CAR.

2) I've been reading that the CLA Class will be built in Mercedes'
Kecskemét plant in Hungary, can you confirm this? YES, INDEED, IT WILL BE
THE HUNGARY PLANT.

3) Regarding the Feb 3 "launch" What information will be available? Will
you be able to "build" one on the website, will the full
specs/options/packages and price for said options/packages? THE CLA
CONFIGURATOR WILL BE AVAILABLE SHORTLY. I DON'T HAVE EXACT ETA YET.

So, it won't be at the Toronto auto show, it will be built in Hungary and you'll be able to configure it soon(ish):(

"...AUGMENTED REALITY VERSION OF THE CLA..."

WTF?...Maybe that means it will be made out of Jello or something like that. "Ya don't drive it son. You eat it!"

Still can't decide on a color . . . .
Misery loves company, as that makes two of us who can't decide on a colour- and it's killing me, ha! :D

It's such a cascade of events, pick the exterior colour -> which dictates the interior colour -> then pick applicable trim finishes -> etc-etc-etc !-!-!

Same here. That's arguably the most flattering finish for the CLA, yet I already got a metallic dark grey exterior w/ graphite interior sedan in the stable!

Ha! Too funny... and too true! :p

White finishes are interesting, they can make a small car look tiny & make a large car look massive!
