I recently bought my CLA at a used car dealer I've only had it for one month and it is overheating.
The weird part about it is that it cools down when I rev up the engine, I already did a air lock bleed because I changed the reservoir because it had a crack in it but nothing seemed to help the car still overheats but I have to come to a stop and rev it up and it cools down, if I keep the car revved up it'll stay at a normal temperature but as soon as I start driving it heats up what could it be?

if i recall getting all the air out of the water system is important to prevent localized heating

yeah ... not awfully simple getting all those hoses off, the manifold aside, etc
did you have any problems bleeding all the air out?

Nope I just filled the expansion tank half way turned the car on let it runs for 10min. Then I poured the rest and squeezed the top rad hose till bubbles stopped really only twice then it was ok she's running great

ahh good old fashioned burping :)
i play the upper/lower hose squeeze game on some older cars which seems to work good enough

Workks fine with the CLA first you let the electric pump work for like a min or 2 then you start the car all this with the cap off the expansion tank

Now i gotta dress up like a grease monkey ...
