This is the second article l have read stating the 45 has brutal acceleration. It may be on par with the last gen 911 turbo. That would be truly impressive.

never owned a high performance turbo do I'm especially looking forward to it!!!

new S3 has been announced at $39,000.

i like the S3s interior over the 45 AMG, but the exterior styling on the Merc is still miles ahead of the Audi.
not sure what to think now. $10k less, nicer interior, 0 to 60 at 4.7 from a sub 300hp car, uglier exterior.

makes my decision to go cla 45 more difficult, although the cla 45 will be released in the US six months sooner.

On CNBC I heard the MB US marketing manager at the NY auto show say the AMG45 would be in showrooms in November. I wonder if this was typical marketing hype or if, in fact, the AMG45 which is 4matic would be available in the US before the CLA250 4matic is available in the US.
