Hi, I’ve just bought a 65 plate CLA250 which had comand added as an option on the build. The maps are now out of date. Can someone please tell me what’s the easiest (and cheapest) way of updating to a more modern map?

presume yours is a 2015 or 2016
makes a difference whether you have the initial ntg4.7 hu or the later ntg5.x series

fleabay might have some pin number based updates for sale depending on your hu version

Any chance you know what it'd take to get carplay running on my '15 CLA45 or if it's even possible? I have the little iphone icon on my USB 2 port if that makes a difference.

some ntg5.x units can use a fleabay dongle to activate
depends on the loaded firmware
a search on here will find those (painful) threads some members went thru

though even the medic has a thing on this …

mine (and a few of us here) used a fleabay special which actually worked and we got a unique pin based on each vin

a common site is mbnavupdate.com

though do run a quick search to see alternatives
