Gee, that Benz Tristar from Ebay would look fabulous on the hood of my Toyota pickup!

Go for it... why not? i was thinking of buy a few for gifts to my poor friends... je je je
Some Mercedes it looks good on. Some others not so much. Sportier cars like a 1950's Gullwing, I can't imagine it having one. I like the CLA without it and with just the grill emblem.
Wouldn't flow with the CLA in my opinion. The CLA has some nice lines and an emblem sticking up would look odd :) Just my opinion ofcourse
The CLA looks very aggressive and is marketed for a " young " demographic ...... the MB emblem seems to be more for the " old schoolers " ( not to offend anyone here  ) so i can understand why it's not included !? Though wait a few months i'm sure one can get it as an aftermarket piece and have it installed ??? To each their own !!
for me a Mercedes is missing something without that Star emblem on the hood:cool:
i dont really think it has anything to do with age... its a personal preference in my humble opinion... lol

Understood and yes it's really to each their own. No right or wrong in this case !! I had a 2008 C300 and it didn't have the hood emblem and I felt it looked just right !!!
my wife has the 2006 230 C with a Hood emblem and she loves it... she says it gives the care Prestige and Dignity... lol
for me its just a silver star but its Kool...and i dont want to get her mad removing it... lol

I had a '76 C-Class and it looked awesome with the tri-Star emblem. Given the sleekness of the CLA, I believe it would not look good on this auto. I believe it would take out the "sporty" and "growl-like" edge of the car.

with all due respect, i humbly disagree;)

Heck, all this is like gourmet food and spirits ... it's all in the individual pallet. Let's see what the wizards of Stuttgart, Germany wind up doing down the road.

Hey Folks.. i have a C118 and was wondering if anyone has any Pic of Hood Ornament Installed in their CLA to see how it looks? I had a company owned E Class before and now i am missing that Tristar in front on my CLA. But not sure how would it look.
And also if someone know whats the "Part Number" of the exact sized Tristar Hood to order?
Maybe a c class transplant
As some c class versions swapped the emblem for the star
Thanks JMC..
I just realised that the place the logo is.. it’s not the bonnet but the fixed part after the bonnet. I was under impression that it’s on the bonnet and so just a plug and play but this needs few parts to be removed and I don’t think my “lust” for that hood is that much important 😃😊
So just dropping the idea!
well you could be gutsy and drill a hole in the hood perimeter ......... NOT!! :p
