Exhaust to quiet?

The CLA 45 has two exhaust options, Sport & Performance. Both are single valved but the two main differences are; 1) The performance exhaust has an option to direct exhaust tones from under the hood into the cabin (not important to me) & 2) has 1ea 4"x12" resonator in the back only where the sport has 2ea 5" x 12" resonators in line. (1 in front/1 in back). There are other subtle differences, if arguing those points are your jam, I'm just going to concede those. Sounds like you have Sport exhaust (As do I) I recently deleted the front resonator & replaced the rear resonator with a Vibrant Performance Resonator (P/N: 1794). Its perfect for my needs & sounds indiscernible from the performance exhaust. Mildly deeper in comfort, no crackle. Performance note in Sport with some pop & crackle. Aggressive with lots of pops & crackles at rev in S+. Its a regular choose your own adventure & worth the pennies it cost to do. I'd imagine front resonator delete would get you 95% there from a tone perspective but I've used Vibrant in the past & am fan of the sound.

I have The performances exhaust. Below straight from my sticker:

H79 Aluminum Trim
U21 AMG Performance Exhaust System U70 AMG Red Brake Calipers
V94 Speed load index
00A Illuminated Star
413 Panorama Roof
787 19" AMG Multi-Spoke Wheels, Black
.
I believe u21 is the sport code and u78 is the performance code. Any chance you could post a sound bite when you get a chance? Sport+ at the minimum should be tastefully aggressive. It’s enough to scare the GF’s dogs.
