Finally some good news for US CLA fans - 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA brochure released

It's been a long wait for those of us in the United States. We've been teased since the Super Bowl and haven't had a whole lot to show for it. Lots of rumors and half-answers from dealers. Today however we finally have a US Spec brochure. Its not much, but at this point any little crumb of information is welcomed. jl326 posted a link to the brochure and you can right click/save as the PDF here:

Well geez, I feel bad. I got one of these from my dealer last month when I put down my deposit and ordered. I should have scanned it for all of you at least (if the online version didn't exist). Sorry! :sorry:

The 2014 model is the one which is coming this year.
now just waiting for the build & configure page!
I definitely believe that a lot more info could have been included within the brochure. I have obtained more info from this forum than what they have published within that miniature brochure...smh!!
Unfortunately, I have little faith in information I've seen floating around -- at least with respect to the US. One thing I've learned is that what companies do in the RoW does not necessarily apply to North America. So, if our friends in the UK are getting standard Recaros with red stitching in the CLA45 (not saying that they are), that doesn't mean US customers will get the same. As frustrating as it is, I am very much in wait and see mode. I agree that the brochure offered little to no real information but I'm guessing there's a reason for that.

Red belt & seat stitches -2014 CLA package for US?

Hi guys, quick question for the CLA lovers in US:
I've been to my dealership in Dallas , kind of ready to put a deposit down on a CLA. The thing is that I've been told that in US :us: we don't get the package with red belts and seat stitches...and I was so disappointed. I know it may seem stupid, but I really wanted the red. The sales guy was not able to tell me if maybe next year US is getting this package...have you guys heard anything about this?
Also, do you think I should post this question in a different section?
Obeseya,

Are you interested in a 250 or a 45?

-Eric
The reason I was asking is because the 45 comes with the red belts (Y05) and stitching standard with the black MB Tex seats. There is also a leather option called Black 'Red Cut' that also includes the red seat belts and stitching. To the best of my knowledge option Y05 (red seat belts) is not available or an option on the base car, the 250.

A few interest points:
1. Ironic that I don't want the red seat belt on my CLA45 and was told it comes with the base seats like it or not. I don't have an option for the black seat belt.
2. The red stitching on the seat and steering wheel and the red seat belt is an option on the regular non-AMG C class sedan.
3. The Thread "Just picked up my CLA AMG" show a lovely CLA with "AMG" package that looks like Sport Package plus the same seats and steering wheel we get here in the base US CLA45 except they have black seat belts instead.
4. It does look like to get the US CLA45 base price below $50k, Mercedes has trimmed some goodies our Australian and European counterparts are getting as standard such as the Recaro seats. Of course, their cars are also more costly across the board.

I also received the above tri-fold 6.0" x 4.5" brochure from my dealer when I placed the CLA45 order in June. This forum provided so much more information I didn't even think about that brochure.
