I have always for the past 2 years, drive the 10km to Costco to put in their permium gasoline (no issues thus far) and the occasional Shell V-power and Chevron premium 94. All are ethanol free here in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Recently, the mega wholesale supermarket, superstore Canada, sold their gasoline business to a venture renewable energy investment outfit, and now their gas stations are selling Esso supplied Synergy gasoline, which their premium 91 grade is ethanol free, its even stated clearly on the pump. The gasoline sold there is rebranded to Mobil, and its certified top-tier here in Canada.
Driving the CLA with a full tank of the synergy gasoline, engine is smooth as like before, accelerates the same. I think I will save the gas driving to Costco and just buy the gas from the Superstore gas stn, which is only 2 km from my house. AND NO LINE UPS!
