Front Vents/Scoop for the CLA

I noticed that the CLA45 has the black 'scoops' just above the front vents... the 200s and the 250s doesn't seem to come with them.

Any idea where can I get them and are they the stick-on type?

Heard it was simply an 'add on'... but am wondering if it will fit on the regular 200/250s bumper. Anyone out there knows?

It looks as the same bumper as in my 250 so it should fit. But Im not sure if it will look good, any whole body pictures?

It should fit on 200 an 250 sport models. Their vents are the same size.

Yeah, the Sgt. Kabukiman mustache trim is basically what differentiates the exterior of the AMG vs. the non-AMG models with the Sports Pkg. Oh yeah, and little turbo badges on the front quarters. If you can't pick them up in the MB parts catalog for some odd reason I guaranty that the aftermarket will offer them up...probably in all different flavors, too (e.g., carbon, painted, wood grain...)

So how much extra HP do we get if we add the AMG turbo badge to the 250 :crazy:

The aftermarket will have these within a few months of the cars release. Just give them a little time.

What's the rule...stickers add 25hp or so? Since these are actually "badges" they might add a few more ponies. Is there an official ruling on this somewhere? Maybe we need a site poll!

Especially if they are stickers for products not actually on or even made for the car

We all know that add-ons like the front air scoops, AMG fender badges and the rear deck spoiler are good for 25 HP, but for maximum increase you really gotta dive in under the hood. The old school method was chrome valve covers but now the engine cover is where it's at. Come on guys, get with the program and get the AMG engine cover that is guaranteed 100 HP increase. If you can get one that includes the sticker showing who hand-built the engine then that will add 50 HP more!

Can I add the AMG engine cover with the sticker onto my AMG cover with a sticker? Then I'd have basically a AWD C63

Lol... you guys really crack me up here!

But on a serious note, are the 200/250s AMG bumpers of the same 'mould' as the 45s? Looks about the same to me... just that little lid/scoop and the lower lip that's of a different color...
