As others mentioned on this forum, there is a big discount if you can gather up people and buy a new car through a group purchase.

I'm living in the Burlington area, but would be willing to purchase in the Toronto area if thats where other buyers are located.

I went to the dealer today, the dealers barely know more than these forums know right now. Mainly need Canadian pricing before I move forward I think.

I was on unhaggle(dot)com and was pricing out the B250 to figure out the invoice cost and received a call from Mercedes Mississauga. I mentioned to the sales rep that I was rather interested in the CLA and after speaking with him stated that I was looking at a group buy scenario to which the sales guy was more than willing to entertain

Man.... I just cant wait for this car to finally come out!

Hi guys,

Count me in for the AMG as well!! I am from the GTA but visited the Mississauga dealer yesterday and as everyone pointed out, not much is known about pricing here.

However, an interesting point the AMG salesperson made was that part of the discrepancy between CAD and US prices (aside from exchange rates and additional tariffs) on the AMG models is due to the amount of standard features on our cars. For example, the AMG performance exhaust system will come standard in the Canadian CLA45 AMG whereas it will be an à la carte option down south.

Hi All,

I'm mainly interested in the base CLA model. I guess a group buy would be beneficial for any dealer, regardless of the options/model that each person requires. For example, it is still a 10 car sale regardless if it is CLA or AMG

Also, I am very flexible with time frames (if people want to buy early, or later this year). Whatever day will bring the most buyers.
