Seems expensive for 18" wheels. If the dealer agrees to trade the sports wheels for these then it could be had for cheaper. The other alternative is to just wait it out till the black wheels are no longer so exclusive and at the 25,000 mile tire change just buy oem black ones.
I talked to the mbusa product manager. He told me that 750 sets will be in the usa all on the mountain grey limited edition. If you want to order as spare parts they will be orderable 3 months after release. Spare parts order will cost a'lot also. The 2015 Cla will have them as an add on option(not about to wait for next years model). I am hoping the dealer will keep the stock amg sports package rims for like $1k. So the final cost will be like $2k. It's worth it to me. Mercedes completely killed the design on those rims. Here's what i am hoping my Cla will look like.
So for that I need: The black amg rims, gloss black vinyl wrap window trim/ mirrors, gotta tint the windows
Also planning on getting the Brabus quad exhaust/bumper.

I really hope that as the car is launched, they will allow me to upgrade to these when I order it. It is listed under the accesories for the USA but does not give any more information than what is out on the internet.
Where is it listed under the accesories for the USA? You won't be able to upgrade to them.

That is not for MBUSA. Only European countries.
The picture shown is AMG specific 19" SIXTEEN spoke rim.
European can order a similar 18" rim with only FOURTEEN spokes. Just look at some of the recent posted pictures from England.
They are not only different in size but appearance.

I asked my dealer about this (located in Europe/Greece) and we got a negative answer from MB. They do not allow ordering plain CLA with these wheels.
Buying them on your later on as an aftermarket option is a different story.
By the way do you prefer the matte 19" than the glossy 18"?
The rim shown in the picture is an AMG exclusive 19" sixteen SPOKE rim. It is an $850 USD option on the CLA45.
The standard CLA in Europe, I believe, gets an 18" FOURTEEN Spoke similar rim as an option but it is NOT the same as the AMG rim.
OEM RIMS WOULD BE INSANELY EXPENSIVE. Wait a few month and buy an after market, identical looking rim for much less.
The OEM rims will not be cheaper if you wait. The factory items prices are not based on popularity.
The twin five spoke 18" AMG rims with the sport package retails for $3600 a set. So don't give it away so cheaply.
