Hi All,
Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue or knows of a fix.
I have an iPhone 12 Pro running the latest IOS version (15.4.1), however I cannot use bluetooth audio streaming to my 2018 CLA45 AMG.
CarPlay works without issue, however BT audio will not. It jitters, skips songs, skips parts of a song and you just cannot listen to it.
I had a 2017 Ford and BT audio worked without any issues. My work vehicle, a 2019 Toyota Hilux, also has no issues with BT audio (all off the same iPhone 12 Pro), so I dont think the issue lays with the phone.
I have paired and unpaired (remove) the phone to the CLA, which didnt work. I ended up taking the car to Mercedes and they apparently upgraded the software version on the car. That also didnt help.

Does anyone have any ideas?? Any help would be appreciated as its driving me nuts!

I had that same issue with my 2015 CLA when I first got it , the dealership service dept initially tried fixing it with software updates, but could not do it. However, I insisted they fix it somehow, and they contacted Mercedes Germany, and somehow they got it fixed. Something to do with firmware and software updates.

Thanks Mav238.
Was the update something they did with your car or did you find out that it was the software related to your phone?
It was both. I had to update my Android phone a few times before it hooked on the BT.

because you have the latest iphone 12 pro, you might want to check with mercedes to make sure their firmware update covers the latest iphone ios.
