November was already spoken for, I ordered it through Ray Catena Mecerdes in NJ and they are one of the biggest in the area and they're only getting 4 or 5 per allocation. I have a 335is that is going back at the end of March that is why I chose this allocation. My CLA is supposed to be here April-May hopefully earlier. So I'm assuming the build date will be before then.Impressive list of options, Cince623. The carbon fiber trim package is so expensive that there will probably be very few of those on the road. So the dealer quoted you a build date in April 2014? What caused such a long delay in the build date? Maybe the Recaro seats or the Carbon Fiber? If the build date should slip out any further, you should consider switching to a early 2015 build. The 2015's are rumored to be picking up many of the features that are lacking on the 2014.
The trouble is you can't order unless there is an allocation. And I don't think dealers even know what their allocations are that far out.Impressive list of options, Cince623. Congrats...just mentally prepare yourself for an additional $2-3K on top of that build price for the Black "Red Cut" Leather Package -- note that its missing from the right column. Leather isn't free and neither is 396 (P39).
Shouldn't that be included in the performance seat package?Congrats...just mentally prepare yourself for an additional $2-3K on top of that build price for the Black "Red Cut" Leather Package -- note that its missing from the right column. Leather isn't free and neither is 396 (P39).

We need clarification on if there is a charge for leather.Congrats...just mentally prepare yourself for an additional $2-3K on top of that build price for the Black "Red Cut" Leather Package -- note that its missing from the right column. Leather isn't free and neither is 396 (P39).

The charge for leather is bundled into the Interior Package which consists of P34 (880) for the regular leather treatment like Black, Brown and Ash or 396 (P39, 880, Y05) for the Black "Red Cut" Leather. The Interior Packages are mandatory with the leather and you cannot order them with the MB-Tex. The cost of the Interior Package isn't listed on the spec sheet out of the system because it hasn't been finalized. The price of P34 is in the Order Guide as $1,500 but 396 is not yet listed. Rest assured it is NOT free.We need clarification on if there is a charge for leather.
I was at a dealer today and he gave me copy of the specs of a vehicle that was on order and black leather code 801 was specified with no charge.
All other options with a charge had the dollars specified on the spec sheet.
The MSRP total was listed at the bottom of the spec sheet which didn't include any leather up charge.
No. The Recaros are 555. If you order the base Recaro seat you don't get the Interior Package (no covering on the dash and door panels, etc.). If you get the leather with the Recaros then you add the appropriate Interior Package (mandatory with the leather)...either P34 or 396.Shouldn't that be included in the performance seat package?
