Ok guys some Hungarian or German guy is building my CLA 45 AMG right this moment so I say lets partay. Champagne and drinks are on me!
I'll send them some non alcoholic beer to cheer them up so that they can be sober yet extremely happy allowing them to do a better job on my car Lol.Let's just make sure that the Champagne and other intoxicants stay out of the hands and mouths of the auto workers that are building the car! That would not turn out good.
From what I've been told Wednesday build dates are the best... HURRAH Lol. Also ya its completely out of our control, and wish that some psychological books were written about this. I'd definitely read them. Also I know that theres probably going to be AMG specialists inspecting the whole build so that quality is at max with the AMG versions, since AMG has a humongous reputation on making quality cars. Honestly I've never heard of any issues with a AMG car. There are all sorts of theories as to what are good build days and bad build days...
Not on Monday because they're hungover from the weekend.
Not on Friday because they're thinking more about the upcoming weekend.
Not a day before a Holiday because they're trying to finish fast and get out of work early.
Then we have to worry about what day of the week that the engine was hand assembled at AMG in Germany.
And on and on....
I don't know that we should worry about this too much since it's totally outside our control, we can't specify a certain day of the week for our build. I wonder if there is any recent scientific proof that correlates higher quality work is produced on certain days of the week by workers at various production facilities around the world. Might make an interesting read, but again, outside our control. I'd be more interested in seeing data that shows the overall defect ratio data for cars produced at the various MB plants. Let's hope that the CLA facility in Hungary is near the top in terms of building a quality product.
