The latest:

Marking the launch of this automotive milestone, a limited-production Launch Edition of the all-new 2014 CLA will be offered for those who seek some added exclusivity. On the outside, brilliant Mountain Grey metallic paintwork and black, 18-inch multispoke alloy wheels convey an undercurrent of rebellion. Beneath the skin, an exclusive black interior with contrast neon stitching, a Panorama sunroof and an infotainment suite including an iPod/MP3 Media Interface, navigation and a harman/kardon surround-sound system create a cockpit tailor-made for the discerning driver.

In Europe it should be available starting in the 3rd quarter and then for one year.
No discussion, this neon stitching looks good, but will I say they same thing after 3 or 4 years?! Maybe it is a little bit too much!
True, hard to say if you'll love it day in and day out. I need to see it in person. Sometimes pictures make it really hard to get a good idea of how it really looks.

I actually don't think that the "Launch Edition" and the "Edition 1" are the same thing after reading this article.

The "CLA Edition 1" will only be available for twelve months. It's also only available in Europe and won’t be making it to U.S. shores.
Either way I'm still miffed because I doubt Australia will be getting either of them :p

I've been on a volt-yellow/electric-green (namely chartreuse type of hues) kick as of late, w/ my active/sports wear & accessories. Though, I'm not sure if I could have that in my CLA. At least not for what I intend to use mine for (in-essence a daily-driver/commuter). May be if it was a weekend-only special-edition Porsche or an x-sports type of SUV such as a stylish Wrangler or customized Xterra/FJ-Cruiser/Evoque, etc.

If they made that CLA in that color/trim in long-wheelbase S-Class scale, it'd be what Darth Vader would be driving... ha! :D
