Those will be exceptionally fun in the rain. I've driven on some MT ET Streets in slight rain and that had a pucker factor of 9.

Unless your surname is Senna, I don't recommend using R-compound tires in the rain...

Continental offers a great lineup of performance/touring tires which still perform well year-round in the wet/cold. The ExtremeContact DW is an max performance summer tire that fits the bill.
