Hey everyone.
Quick intro...from Montreal, Canada. Have been cross-shopping Audi A4 or Bmw 3 series or Jetta gli, currently driving 2010 Mazda 3 that I hate. Saw the CLA and fell in love. So much so that I called local dealer and I'm on the ordering list !

Anyways, my understanding is that the silver CLA in the press shots recently released from Detroit is the 250 with sports package. Is it me or the paint looks Matte...hopefully not the Designo Magno paint that costs 7k as an option on the SLS...can anyone confirm ?

First of all welcome to the site and congratulations on your CLA purchase! I'm so jealous! Did the dealer give you an estimated arrival date on your unit?

As far as your question on the matte paint -- it does not look matte to me at all

No arrival date yet, actually havent sent order to MB HQ. They advised that starting in September-ish they will be sending orders to MB for December-ish delivery.
As for the paint, I might be mistaken, but especially in that long driving video of the CLA, the paint looked flat, no highlights which led me to believe it was matte...

The colour in the first shot is mountaingrey, which costs an additional 800 Euro here in Austria.
The second colour is called "designo polarsilver magno" which is almost an additional 2000 Euro here in Austria.

The more I have a glance at the first picture, the more I like the CLA in this mountaingrey in combination with the black rims.
But I guess it will be quite important to see those colours in real life and real "lights-surroundings".

The Mountain Grey looks dope with those black rims! In regards to the Matte finish, it does appear that it is actually an option from some photo's but I haven't seen or heard anything to confirm that.

Ahaha no, I'm not talking about seeing one. I'm just saying that white is my favorite color for cars. Both my current cars are white. I'd like to see one in White with gunmetal grey wheels.

Yes this looks very very nice indeed. But hey, personal tastes are just that...to each their own. Even though the mountain grey looks nice, coming off 2 cars in Graphite/dark grey colors I'm due for a change.
