Anyone have an idea how much HP the 2.0L engine will be putting out?

Its HP and torque numbers are near identical to Audi A4's engine:

Audi A4 HP: 211 @ 4300 RPM
Audi A4 Torque: 258 @ 1500 RPM

Merc CLA HP: 208 @ 5500 RPM
Merc CLA Torque: 258 @ 1200 RPM

It should drive very similar to Audi's A4.
yes, exactly... sometimes i think that Audi and BMW and VW are all the same company with different names... lol,,,cause all of them reside in Germany...
just like here... Lexus is Toyota and Honda is Acura and before Pontiac was Chevrolet... get my drift?
oh... and Nissan is Infinity... Scion is Toyota... its a car game...

The plot further thickens w/ Fiat ownership of Chrysler, as well as the Toyota-Subara venture... and now w/ Fiat & Mazda co-designing. Things are about to get even more muddled! :D

The torque for the Mercedes is slightly better at 1200 RPM verses the Audi's 1500 RPM. That means "theoretically" the Mercedes should have slightly more low-end grunt when scooting around town and at stop lights. But the difference isn't very much so maybe it won't be noticeable at all.

I've driven the Audi A4 and was impressed by it's performance. I liked it. It's surprising what they can squeeze out of a four banger turbo with all the electronic gizmos and sensors now a days.
