I know of dozens who have financed w/ PenFed for new & pre-owned vehicles, they said it was analogous w/ working w/ a credit-union and/or the like. Very pain-free, seamless, and positive experiences.

However, I don't know about their "car buying service" (nor do I know much if-at-all about any car-buying-service, as I've always chosen to research online then go in-person to negotiate a discount knowing invoice, specials, incentives/rebates, etc).

I will be looking into car-buying-service(s) this time for the CLA, as it being a brand-new unreleased model, the area dealers aren't going to discount it from MSRP. I'm just waiting for the MB online configurator to go live, in which then the dealer's e-builder will be online, thus car-buying-services' e-builders will also be up & running (which they then fwd the spec to a participating dealer, at a pre-arranged discount).

So, ideally I hope there will be some discount off MSRP- as otherwise at less than $40k an Audi A5 is lookin' rather delish...

Any brand switch incentives? Sorry I'm with the utter guys and dese utter guys will give me 750 to stay und dee utter utter guys will give me between 1000 and 1500 to switch brands.

Anyone know if MB is doing brand switch rebates?

I'm not aware of any current such manufacturer/dealer incentives for such (generally if you're an existing A, B, and C brand owner, and you're purchasing brand X...) as of now, but these do come & go.
