1. The color is nice and I hope it will look also good outside (as I've ordered Edition 1 which has exactly same color and currently awaiting to be loaded on the ship somewhere in European port).1. The Mountain Grey looks so much nicer inside showroom than outside. I suppose that's why they call it showroom because of the favorable lightings.
2. Beige MB tex interior looks nice. Steering wheel missing aluminum trims around the control bottons. Thought that's standard with premium 1.
3. Is the aluminum dash trim real or plastic ?
4. This car has all the packages + roof + metalic paint. A $39000 car.
how was the quality of the interior trim? Those plastic doors covering the cubbies concern me a bit. I also noticed there is no chrome ring around the cupholders like other models have. I know the C class has this sort of mesh/cloth type headliner which is very nice actually, does the CLA have that? Steering wheel has no chrome trim and it isnt flat bottomed...though it is in the pictures. I am hoping the wheels will be flat bottomed.1. 2. Yes, MB-tex looks and feels good, though it has much more "beige" tone than I thought before. The absence of aluminum trims on the steering wheel also surprised me, but dealer has no idea about it. He said it is not official production unit, so might be official units will have it. Not a deal breaker from my sideAlso, it looks the same as official images on mbusa.com but different from preproduction and European images...
3. Aluminum trim feels real aluminum, but might be a plastic. Hard to say...
4. This car misses park assist, driver assistance package, blind spot and few more things but it is definitely a loaded one. Maybe not $39k, but close to that price.

Not sure, as the car was without key to try it.Alex, Does the rear window come all the way down ?
The quality was very good. Regarding the wheel - I think flat bottomed wheel is for Amg models and Edition 1 only.how was the quality of the interior trim? Here in US night package available only as a part of Edition 1 packages and cannot be added to standard (non AMG) cars. As this car was standard CLA250 with sport package I didn't expected black mirrors and other "night" attributes.Great pics bro! I really like the mountain grey look on this car, but is misses the night package in my opinion.
The steering wheel with chrome buttons and flat bottom comes only in the AMG interior option, which is only available in black.
Opting for the beige interior gives you the 'comfort' steering wheel.
In The Netherlands we get the AMG interior included in the AMG Line styling option, so no AMG exterior without the AMG interior.
ah yes, i forgot about that. The C class does the same thing, no flat bottomed wheel with the beige interior. I think the CLA with the black interior here will have the flat bottomed wheel, just like the C and other models. The little preview brochure shows the black interior with the flat bottomed steering wheel having the chrome trim on it.Great pics bro! My dealer said it is ash. On images it sometime looks like beige. See more images on another thread and decideThanks for posting these images. Really great to see the car in such detail. I noticed this was listed as the "ash" interior. My dealer is saying this is the beige interior which seems most likely. I think the ash is more of a gray color to it and less warm. Can you confirm this at all? I want to make sure I get the right color on my order and I love what I am seeing in these pictures.
Yes, the rear door windows go all the way down into the door. One slight exception is that there is a small triangle shape quarter window at the rear edge of the door. This small window is fixed and does not retract into the door when the main window is lowered.Alex, Does the rear window come all the way down ?
Yes, it goes down all the way -- see second batch of images as I made the photo to answer the question.Yes, the rear door windows go all the way down into the door. The key was in the car when I was there for my preview demo!
There seemed to be a problem with the Comand system in this demo car. When the key is turned on, the Comand screen shows that the system is booting and then you see a quick "Comand system is shutting down" message before it goes black.
Dealer said late Sep. I've clearly asked about 23rd and his response was "make sense"...Hey AlexG, by any chance did they mention the release date?
Yea none of the local dealers here in NC claim they don't have any info either. I'm still awaiting my car to be assigned to a ship for transport to the port. Thx again for the pix!Dealer said late Sep. I've clearly asked about 23rd and his response was "make sense"...

My car is on ship passing Panama canal at this moment and scheduled to arrive to LA VPC at Sep 4th. With this, dealer is not sure the car will be in dealership/release before Sep 22/23 or whatever launch date is...Yea none of the local dealers here in NC claim they don't have any info either.
