Ok ladies and gents heres my review of the amazing CLA 45 AMG plus videos and pictures. I posted the pictures and videos on my facebook but made them public so all of you can see them.

Pictures- https://www.facebook.com/jake.tompa...87551789255.1073741828.100005740329312&type=3

Videos- https://www.facebook.com/jake.tompalski.71/media_set?set=vb.100005740329312&type=2

Ok so heres basically my review of the comfort, look and feel of the CLA 45 AMG- I'll begin with the steering wheel and slowly progress. If you're debating on whether or not getting the Performance steering wheel for your AMG then this part will save your life. The Performance steering wheel has amazing grip and level of comfort. It's unlike anything I've seen before plus the paddle shifters are located in the perfect position. The steering wheel also includes a Flat bottom and flat top which would greatly help in turns. Therefore I believe that the Performance steering wheel is a must have.

Recaro seats- Most people were worried that these seats might not be comfortable for long rides etc. Good news is that we don't have to worry about these issues. The seats are firm, and extremely supportive for extremely fast turns, but at the same time they are extremely comfortable. I'm a bigger guy at the moment thanks to my knee surgery, but I had more then enough room when sitting in the seats. Also the material that they're made out of in my opinion is top quality. So if you're willing to spend the extra money then I say get them for sure!

ESP settings- Ok so theres 3 ESP settings. On, Sports, and off. ESP on is well I think everyone knows what that is so I won't get into it. ESP Sports has ESP on slightly, but gives you way more freedom, and gives more torque to the rear wheels giving it a slightly rear wheel drive feel. So basically it gives you your freedom but its still there just incase. Now ESP off is where the ESP is fully off. This will give you complete freedom and even more torque to the rear wheels. It also should allow you to perform drifts and possibly power slides if you want to (can't confirm the power slides part)

The screen- Ok so the 5.8" screen was installed in this car since it was the Edition 1 CLA 45 AMG. It's not small, but its not big. I truly must recommend getting the larger screen with navigation though. (Couldn't see any of the writing etc because they didn't turn the car on)

Quality of materials- The quality of the materials wasn't bad but wasn't extremely top notch also. but this can be expected because the car only has a base price in the high 40s. Truly had no issue with the quality though since everything seemed like it belonged in the car

Stop and go or whatever you call it-You can turn this stuff off (Just had to mention it since I'll never use it lol)

Manual, Sports, and conservative modes- Ok so theres 3 modes you can drive in. Manual, Sports, and conservative. In manual mode you drive like any manual automatic out there using your paddle shifters to switch between gears. Sports mode basically makes things more intense and more amazing. You get higher revs, more sound from the beautiful engine and more power. Also increased performance in handling. Conservative is basically comfort but they decided to call it Conservative since you basically just save fuel haha.

Room in the interior- In the front theres tons of room. Truthfully way more room then even a 6'1 person needs. No issue height wise sitting in the front. If you sit in the back and your 6'1 then your heads going to be hitting the ceiling. A 6' person should be fine sitting there I believe as long as there aren't any bumps on the road lol. Leg room in the back I truthfully had no issue with. Was slightly hitting the back of the seat but no issue. I still felt comfortable and all.

Trunk-Tons of room in the trunk. You can fit at least 3 grown man in there lol (The Mafia may now rejoice)

Wheels- The wheels are 235/35 19 Inch wheels by Dunlop

Rims-Saw both the chrome and the matte black rims at the dealership. They look nice and everything but cleaning the brakes might be slightly difficult.

Exhausts- Saw the normal exhausts on the CLA 45 AMG and they look exactly like a CLA 250s exhausts. I also saw the amazing performance exhausts, but didn't hear them. The performance exhausts suit the car extremely well and the tour guide highly recommends them for that AMG sound.

Exterior look- In my opinion the exterior look was simply amazing. The lines on the car showed pure passion and beauty on the car. The Bi Xenon lights had a red accent around them (Don't know if this is exclusive to the Edition 1 only), but that accent fit the car perfectly. The bumper looks sexy, the LEDS give it a aggressive look, the front gives it a extremely don't mess with me look, the back gives it more of a luxurious look, and the logos show people which want to race you just what they're about to race and get owned by. Basically in simple terms the exterior was created with tremendous passion by the engineers in Mercedes/AMG. The car has tons of beauty, sportiness, and it even looks luxurious. Also I'd recommend getting the Night Package because the dark windows in the rear go along with the car perfectly.

Where is it built- Discovered that the engine is built in Kolleda or something like that and the car is assembled in Hungary.

All in all I loved the car, and hope that the Boss will be able to fix things by August 14th so that I don't end up getting a BMW.

If you have any questions or if I missed reviewing something then let me know :p

--

night package makes them black

--

Well I saw a 45 AMGwithout the performance exhaust and the exhausts looked exactly like a CLA 250s at least from the viewpoint that I had of it, while the one with Performance exhaust looked different soooooo lol. Also for the night package thats what I kind of meant :p

Well the tour guide said that it was a 5.8" screen so thats why I thought it was the 5.8. Also think it's a bit small then if its the 7"

Thanks for the review. How does the spoiler look on the car? Does the car look better with or without the spoiler?

Thanks for an exhaustive report on the CLA45. I am eating up every word :)

I knew the AMG Performance steering wheel is a must. It is expensive but one would not want to be without it as it is only a handful of AMG specific items that will help differentiate
the CLA45 from a sport packaged CLA250.

Sadly the non-leather Recaro seats at $2250 are not available to the US market at this time. I understand the Australian CLA45 get them as standard issued. To have that you would have to pay
for the leather upgrade which mandates a Premium 1 making the option a very pricey $5950. I used to think I cannot go without the Recaro seats but I have accepted the fact that it just won't happen.

You can see the pictures and videos by going to the two links I posted aka the facebook ones. I made all the videos and pictures public therefore everyone should be able to see it, so everyone can decide on their own, but I personally like the spoiler.

Ya its a complete must because the grip on the steering wheel is just pure amazing. Also I see well if you somehow get the money to get the Recaro seats then I highly recommend. Didn't sit in the normal seats so I cant say anything about them

Great write up, but next time you pick up your iPhone to make a picture or video, turn it 90 degrees sideways...
Never really took pictures/videos with it so I didn't know that at the time haha :p
