Sunroof Panel May Detach > No CLA's were included.
This recall is dated 12/23/22 and discusses the MB supplier's drying time for the bonding agent, which was changed from 5 minutes to 2 minutes.
Further testing showed the defect even involved units, which were dried the full 5 minutes, so the conclusion was that the failures were due to "temperature and humidity in the production facilities during primer ventilation ...etc." Several models over many years were identified, but no CLA's.

sure these recalls are not done on purpose to get you to come into the dealership so they can get more business finding something else to fix on your car LOL

sounds like the same one from a year ago I took it in, everything was fine and ended up spending $1,600 on other services needs found LOL

a) Suggest you read the entire NHTSA document.
b) On your previous experience - If you were notified by MB to bring it in, there should have been zero associated charges.
c) What else did they "find" that resulted in a 1600 charge - Were you behind in your required maintenance?

though after supplier wacking and process updates this is not right …
