gbert, first off thanks for the video!
It's really well done and makes me want to wait for the AMG
As far as the S3 -- here's my thoughts.
The CLA45 AMG has more power... quite a bit more
Its a larger car, and 4 door --- and yet looks more sporty then the S3
The S3 is equal parts hatchback and wagon. It doesn't appeal to me as far as looks.
The interior in the MB looks much nicer then the Audi.

Gotcha! I know! The CLA just looks too sexy but we might be talking about 2 different Audi S3s here though! Im talking about the newly announced 2015 audi S3 which should be out by 1st quarter of 2014 starting @ $39,000! Its suppossed to have a 0-60 time of 4.7secs! Heres the vid:
