It looks like the cat is finally out of the bag. The official pricing point of the Mercedes-Benz CLA will be $29,900 (at least here in the US). The news comes via the leak of the MB CLA Super Bowl commercial which you can view above. If you watch until the end of the commercial you will see the billboard reveal the pricing.

CLAjose already started a thread regarding this issue here (thanks for the post!) and there is already some discussion going on there: http://www.mercedescla.org/forum/5-cla-general-discussion/69-2014-cla-class-starting-29-900-a.html

Starting price of under $30K is nice but with the needed option packages or options will probably get it above 40K but nevertheless still a good price IMHO !
actually i think you will be pleasantly surprised with the options packages, if its anything like the C class... for example the upgrade in C class to AMG sport is only 2300 and that includes wheels tires spoiler etc...the moonroof is another 1100 and if you need the better sound system or navi figure another 5k... so you were close but i think around 35ish and im being prudent... remember Mercedes had a great sales year in 2012 and the baby boomers like myself are strating to die off... lol.... they want young blood in their cars and part of the strategy is the muscular lines bolder colors and cheaper entry point for new or young buyers... its my personal feeling that this car will be a Smash Hit with Mercedes and its highly possible that their could be a Dealer Markup... the did and are doing this now with Subarus BRZ Model... from what i hear its marked up between 2000-5000 dollars over sticker... so keep your fingers crossed this doesnt happen... in fact i almost bought one and did they pulled a fast one on me trying to add their silly dealer markup...

ps.. for 40K USD i think that would buy the entry level CLA AMG..... maybe... keep your fingers crossed to find out...

For me, I was at right $35k w/o many of the packages. Some stand-alone but befitting options for a car of this standard do add up (ie. $720 metallic-paint, $1,200 leather-interior, $850 Bi-Xenon Headlights w/ LED-DRLs, $2,200 Premium Package).

And being the CLA "starts" at $29.9k, the $905 destination-charge makes it already $30,805 before any options/packages.

So w/ my desired options/package, I'm at $36k pre-TTL. And I actually consider it a "lite" build (no: 4Matic, Sport Package, Multimedia Package, Panorama Sunroof, etc).
