Order Placed - CLA 250 - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Just got back to the office from Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale. Peter McInnis was extremely helpful, even
allowing me to drive their only other vehicle on the lot equipped with DISTRONIC (a gorgeous white SL 550) to
decide if I wanted it (yes!).

*CURRENT CONFIG*
See below, but:
Replace brown leather with Grey MB-Tex
Add Multimedia Package
Remove Driver Assist Package
Remove Rear Airbags

New MSRP $36,975

*ORIGINAL CONFIG*
Included is my order sheet. Note the pricing was changed to reflect a total MSRP of $38,845 after my selections:

-Cirrus White
-Brown Leather
-Premium Package 1
-Driver Assistance Package
-Interior Package (A requirement when ordering leather, apparently)
-BiXenon Headlamps
-Black Ash Trim
-Standalone 18 Inch 5 Spoke Wheels
-Rear Side Airbags

The only question I have, really, and Peter couldn't answer is "What is package 318: Interior Package, P34: Exclusive Package, and 880: IR Summer Open Close in Driver Door"?

I plan to lease 24/10,000 and can't wait to see it in person!

Thanks for the update & share!

I noted they priced the leather-interior at $1,500 which is the C-Class stand-alone option price for the leather-interior.

I believe the CLA leather-interior stand-alone option was stated to be $1,200.

I wonder if the dealer just used the default C-Class price or if the CLA price for such has been amended!

IMO the information he had in front of him was very particular to the CLA and the price guide should be amended.

Makes total sense since the dealer order-guide was subject to change ("all prices estimated"), as-per fine print.

That makes my tentative build $36k+ (pre-TTL)...

$29,900 - CLA250
$905 - destination-charge
$720 - metallic-paint (Northern Lights Violet)
$850 - BiXenon headlamps / LED-DRLs
$1,500 - leather-interior (Brown Leather)
$2,200 - Premium Package

(later may add illuminated door-sills, rear-spoiler, etc.)

Can't forget about the floor-mats, ha!

I do not. The one I had pulled up on my iPad while ordering the car is the one from these forums.

Did you find out whether the window trim is going to be glossy black or chrome? On the white the glossy black definitely looks better.

Ah okay, was the price on the leather the only thing that was changed? Cause looking at your build sheet, thats the only difference i see. Base price was $29,900?

They did a Super Bowl commercial that they spent millions of dollars on and stated base price 29,900. Ofc the base price is gonna stay the same.

. I asked cause it looked like it was 29,800 on the buildsheet, not 29,900.

I did not find out, as it isn't something I much have an opinion about. Either is fine by me.

I believe that was the only discrepancy, and yes the base price is $29,900

No, he said there would be no discounts for pre-orders. I didn't argue with him as I think paying MSRP is fair at this point.

BS still haggle with him. It's like there's huge demand and a very limited supply.

Well, I just changed the options I selected on my order...

I learned that if you do not get nav the screen is smaller than would be otherwise. I found that it cheapens the look with the 5.8" screen,
and figured I'd go for the Multimedia Package, remove the brown leather, go for the beige mb-tex, and remove Driver Assitance. That
actually lowered the price of the car by $1,450. I really would like the radar cruise control but really could care less about side/lane assist
making Distronic rather pricey. Total is now $37,395.

My father has an ML350 and C300 with MB-Tex and assuming it is similar (there seems to be argument on that point here on the forums) find it acceptable.

I'm in Boca and started the process.
You stated your thinking of a 24/10,000 lease.
Did you talk estimates on residuals?
Overall out of pocket/monthly pmts?

He had none of that information available but did say if it is comparable to a C then a $38k CLA would be "in the low $500's" with inceptions only.

Seems high - no?
I had a quote for a 39,780 C class for 3800 out of the door and 385 per month (30k miles/36 months) from palm beach Mercedes.
