Black with Brown leather interior. I BEGGED to get the AMG wheels on it...but the AMG rep called and squashed that idea. I fully upgraded everything except laser cruise and lane departure stuff. It really can't get here fast enough. I am intrigued by the Limited Edition 1, but is that only in Germany? I would like that one here!!! I really REALLY want black rims on my car.....black BENZ rims...but they are not co-operating.

We shall see....the wait is killing me.

Keep in mind that if you are just waiting for the trade in an order shouldn't cost more than a $500 refundable deposit. If you mean that you're waiting for to save up more for the car itself that's different. If you like the pictures I think you're going to love it in person. It looks even better (to me) in the metal. I can't wait to get behind the wheel! It's only a matter of time.

hey i was talking to a rep at RBM north about ordering my CLA and Im just curious about how you ordered yours. were you able to choose what options you wanted or were you just able to pick which one you want out of the coming batch.

also did he say what the actual base price was?

As per MB Corporate all US dealers should be able to pre-order for customers. I submitted an inquiry via email to MB Corporate and I was advised that by a rep from MB. With this you should be able to select exactly what you want within your pre-order.

I pre-ordered back in May, this week I was notified that my car will be built in the first week of Aug.

I advise you to keep hassling your dealer about getting an order number from MB. This order number will provide the details inclusive to when the vehicle will be built. It will also allow the vehicle to be tracked once it has been shipped for transport to the dealership.

Call and ask for Andy Sayers...he is VERY knowledgeable and will walk you through the ordering process...we did it at his computer. Tell him Dan Hazelwood Sent you. He will take care of you. Base is $29,999 before option packages. Feel free to PM me for offline talk about specifics.

Greetings BigHAZE ... (1) don't sweat the AMG rep's rejection - you can always negotiate the AMG black rims with the dealership directly. Heck, they won't let you walk away just because some corp. rep says 'no' to the rims! (2) It is my understanding that the Edition 1 is coming to the USA -- in a limited quantity -- just like you see it in pictures!
