I believe this only comes with Parktronic option.
Rear view camera: how to turn on proximity sensor sound?
Hello guys, I just got a brand new spanking CLA250 white with the rear view camera camera, the dealer told me I can turn on the sensor sound if I get too near objects, where do I turn that on? I guess I haven't looked hard enough in the settings. Please help. Thanks in advance!

Your dealer was probably wrong. I only have the Premium and Multimedia packages. I have the rear camera, but no parking sensors (or beeps). That's a separate option.
yup, this is part of parktronic and not the MM option. I have this on my car and it will auto park the vehicle but also gives me proximity warnings whenever i am nearing objects.
My car has PARKTRONIC and rear view camera however I do not have an option to turn the sensor beep off or on. FYI they only beep for me when you are within a very short distance say 12 inches of the obstruction. They solid beep when you are at the minimum distance. This goes for front and rear sensors. I believe parktronic is standard on UK/ European cars.
sure you do. there is a button on your dash with a parking cone and sonar markings. Press it to disable parktronic.

The button on the dashboard turns the sensors off and on not just the sound the system makes when you are very close to objects.
hello My CLA 2020 back up camera comes on but I don't have a sound when I'm to close to hitting an object.....I have hit objects in the rest twice
