U71 DVD Coding & 1U2 Snow Screen for AC - NOT SURE WHAT THESE ARE (?)

My order confirmation shows u71 (dvd coding) and 1u2 (snow screen for ac) but i'm not sure what they are. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow but wonder if any of you know what these are ???? I live in florida so anything with the word "snow" does not sound right.... Thanks.

It will play DVD data disks, i.e. MP3 stored on DVD - 1u2

1U2 - Snow screen for AC -- Air intake is equipped with a screen which prevents snow and other debris from entering the air conditioning intake air
